Canadian national, Joseph Hildebrand, 33, who served 2 tours in Afghanistan, was killed on November 6th, 2022 near Bakhmut ,Ukraine. He and 9/12 members of his squad were killed during an operation in the embattled city.
He is now the 8th confirmed foreign national to die in Ukraine in the past week, other countries of note: the U.S., UK, and Argentina.
