Tara Reade, who had leveled accusations of sexual assault against Joe Biden during the 2020 Presidential Campaign – allegations which were later discredited due to lack of credible evidence – has now declared her defection to Russia.

Currently residing in Russia, Reade is reportedly being assisted by Marina Butina, known for her espionage activities, in securing Russian citizenship.
Reade’s recent presence at pro-Russia events following Ukraine’s invasion suggested her eventual move.
Russian media quoted Marina Butina as saying, “I have taken Tara’s request into account. I will be preparing the necessary documents. As a deputy of the State Duma, I plan to propose this matter to the Committee on International Affairs. I’m hopeful that my fellow committee members will join me in appealing to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, to consider allowing Tara to reside here in Russia and potentially expedite her Russian citizenship process.”
