Explosion Targets Taliban Meeting, Kandahar, Afghanistan

A large Loya Jirga comprised of 2,500 Taliban leaders, clerics, foreign diplomats, and commercial entities is currently being held in the Sra-Jama Red Masjid, otherwise known as the Mundigak Palace in historic Kandahar, Afghanistan as just targeted by a large explosion.

It is not clear at this time if there were any casualties as information is being controlled by the Taliban. The last Loya Jirga in Kabul was targeted by ISIS and the ANRF.

This is in addition to todays earlier explosion that has killed at least 20 at a mosque in Kabul, previously reported by this publication.

This is developing.
