Three Dutch Soldiers Shot in Indianapolis, IN

At approximatley 0330 EST, three men were shot at the intersection of South Meridian Street and West Maryland Street in Indianapolis, Indiana. Two were listed as critical with one in stable condition, one has since improved to stable with one still being critical.

The Netherlands Ministry of Defense announced moments ago:

”Three Dutch soldiers from the Commando Corps were injured last night (local time) in a shooting in the American city of Indianapolis. One of them is in critical condition. The other two are conscious and approachable.

The shooting took place in front of the hotel where the commandos are staying. They are in the state of Indiana on exercise. The incident happened during the military’s free time.

The families of the victims have been informed. Local police are investigating the cause of the shooting. No one has been arrested yet.”
