North Korean state-owned media released these photos and a written statements concerning the “successful” launch of their Hwasong-17 ICBM yesterday. The images purport to show Kim Jong-Un personally supervising the launch. The Hwasong-17 reportedly flew at an apogee of 6,000km for a range of 1,000km.
Analyst Dave Schmerler geolocated the launch site based on the above photos at Sunan Airport, Pyongyang, North Korea.
