Japan Experiences Biggest Population Decline In Decades

Data released by the Japanese government showed that the country saw its largest population decline since recording began in 1968. In 2023, Japan experienced its largest decline in Japanese nationals, with the population decreasing by 861,000. This marks the lowest point in a 15-year overall decline in the Japanese population.
