“Several Thousand” Evacuate Combat Zone in Kursk Oblast, Russian Federation as Ukraine Presses Attack

As this publication covered yesterday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces initiated an eight-hour incursion into Kursk Oblast, Russian Federation. Russian military bloggers and the Ministry of Defense claimed that the Ukrainians were repulsed and the operation had ended by about 1700 EST on August 6th.
