North Korean Soldier Crossed Defected to South Korea

On August 20^th, the South Korean military said that a North Korean soldier, reportedly a sergeant, defected to the country after crossing the Military Demarcation Line (MDL). The soldier reportedly crossed the MDL in Goseong County, Gangwon Province.
