Ceasefire in Tigray Holding Well

Tigrayan farmers are now beginning to recover from nearly two years of genocide.

Despite a humanitarian ceasefire since March, tensions are still simmering. Tigray is still under siege by Ethiopian and Eritrean forces, which have committed mass rape and caused famine across the region. A portion of western Tigray is still under Ethiopian occupation while most of central and eastern Tigray have been recaptured by the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF). Tigrayan UN Peacekeepers fled to Sudan this week and do not plan to return.
