North Korea Fires Two SRBMs During UNSC Statement on Previous Launch

Update (1810 EST): South Korean General Staff have confirmed two short range ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan. The Japanese PM has redacted statements concerning missiles overflying Japan.

BREAKING: North Korea has launched another missile towards the Sea of Japan, during the UN Security Council denunciation of the recent launch over Japan. This is developing.

The last launch was September 30th in which two short range ballistic missiles were fired. This is the 21st launch day of 2022 for a total of 41 projectiles ranging from submarine launch and train launched ballistic missiles, to cruise missiles, to reported hypersonics to ICBMs. The last DPRK missile test to overfly Japan was September 15,2017.
