Netblocks first reported a moderate disruption in internet connections in Iran on Monday, which was then confirmed by Iranian officials from the Communications Regulatory Authority as DDOS attacks. Outages are not uncommon in Iran, either from cyberattacks or due to government restrictions during times of protest and outrage over political events.
