Senate Passes Bill That Avoids Rail Strike

The U.S. Senate has just passed a bill preventing a rail strike. The House had just passed the bill yesterday. The bill will now be sent to Biden’s office for the final signature on what will most likely become a new law.

The deal, which needed 60 votes to succeed, was approved 80 to 15 with one senator voting present.
