At approximately 1200 EST, air raid sirens sounded at Engels-2 airbase in Saratov Oblast, Russia. The base was struck this morning by Ukrainian drones which the Russian Federation claim were shot down. They claim the debris falling killed three soldiers.

However, in the last 20 minutes pro-Ukrainian sources have claimed that several Tu-95 BEAR have taken off from Engels-2, reportedly as part of another wave of redeployments. Similar deployments occurred after the December 5th strikes in which several airframes were sent North to Monchegorsk on the Kola Peninsula.
