Five minutes ago, a police officer on the ground searching for the active shooter at Michigan State University announced to other officers via radio that an individual matching the description of the shooter was found.
According to the police chatter, an officer approached the individual and after making contact, the individual shot themself.
Police are now rendering aid to the individual.
Note, there has not been any official statement that this individual was the shooter, this is from police radio.
