India Blocks Internet Access for 27 Million in Search of Sikh Separatist

The Indian Government blocked internet access for the whole state of Punjab in search of Sikh Separatist Amriptal Singh. He allegedly attacked a police station in order to release a colleague, allegedly wounding several police officers in the process. The Indian government also arrested 157 people and deployed thousands of paramilitary soldiers to the state.
