North Korea Launches Unidentified Missile

North Korea has launched an unidentified missile, which it claims is a “space launch vehicle,” according to Yonhap.

The launch comes in anticipation of the DPRK launching its first military spy satellite into orbit, however, it remains unknown if this is a test launch of a rocket system or the actual launch of the satellite.

Air raid sirens have been activated in Seoul, South Korea, as Japan issued a take shelter notice for people living in Okinawa.
