Multiple Explosions Reported During Ongoing Drone Attack, Moscow Russia

At approximately 2105 EST, initial reports of several explosions in Moscow, Russia began to emerge. The first was reported on residential buildings on Zagorodnoye Highway. By 2111 EST, several more explosions had rocked administrative buildings in Southwestern and Southern administrative districts in the Russian capital. This attack is ongoing and the situation is developing.

This comes less than twenty-four hours after Ukrainian President Zelensky vowed revenge for Russian missile strikes that destroyed the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa, Ukraine, which is a World Heritage Site. The last confirmed Ukrainian drone strike on Moscow was on July 4th, 2023.
