Xi Jinping Appoints New Chief of China’s Nuclear Arsenal

China's military command has undergone some change the day before the 96th anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) creation. Xi has announced that the new chief of the PLA's Rocket Force will be Wang Houbin. Wang had previously been with the navy, serving as deputy commander of the navy since 2020, and deputy chief of staff of the navy prior.
