Venezuela Applies to Join BRICS Joining 11 Other Nations for Application Review at Summit

This week, Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro announced that he had filed an application for the nation to join the BRICS economic group. "Venezuela has filed an application to join BRICS and we hope that this application will be approved," he said on his state-run TV channel.
