Large crowds of people have taken to the streets in the Burkinabè capital of Ouagadougou in support of junta leader Ibrahim Traore amid rumors of a coup.
So far the rumors are unfounded and there is nothing to indicate that a coup is actually taking place at the moment. We will continue to monitor the situation.
