Clashes Reported at US Embassy in Lebanon as Security Forces Try to Disperse Crowds

The security situation at the United States Embassy in Lebanon has become tense as crowds of protestors waving Palestine and Hezbollah flags clash with local security forces at the compound.

Reports of tear gas and water cannon deployment on scene.

Protests have sprung up at several Israeli and foreign embassies across the Arab world in response to the strike at the Arab Baptist Hospital in Gaza earlier tonight, which left hundreds dead according to Palestinian health officials. Palestinian authorities and Hamas have blamed an Israeli airstrike for the blast, however, the IDF claims a misfired PIJ rocket is to blame.
