Pentagon Confirms US Warship Intercepted Suspected Houthi Projectiles from Yemen

US Pentagon Spokesman Pat Ryder has confirmed that the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Carney intercepted three suspected Iran-backed Houthi rebel cruise missiles and several drones while in the Red Sea. He went on to add that the projectiles were not fired at the vessel, but rather in a northern direction, which he indicated could have been at Israel.
