Two major Syrian airports were targeted by Israeli missiles early Sunday morning, a military source informed Syria’s state media, the Syrian Arab News Agency.
The attacks came from the contested Golan Heights region as well as the Mediterranean Sea, west of Latakia, a city located on the coast of western Syria. The missiles allegedly targeted the airports of Damascus and Aleppo, which led to the death of one civilian worker and the injury of another, while the airports also suffered structural damage, which has led to their closure.
