Initial reports from Iran-backed Shia militia sources suggest that an unknown vehicle was targeted in a suspected American drone strike while driving along the Abu Ghraib highway, West of Baghdad.
The development comes as Iraqi sources reported that a suspected American drone was circling over the area.
