Footage circulating online shows several police cars having been set on fire, as well as people directly attacking riot police. Garda (Ireland's police service) commissioner Drew Harris stated that "We have a complete lunatic hooligan faction driven by far-right ideology, and also then this disruptive tendency engaged in serious violence".
