Fire Restarts at Fuel Depot, Conakry, Guinea

As this publication reported two days ago, a fire broke out and a subsequent explosion at the Station Shell Coronthie fuel depot on the Kaloum Peninsula in the Conakry neighborhood in coastal Guinea.

The explosion and fire killed at least 18 and injured more than 200. According to local media, a second fire had now broken out at the same station, after about 40 hours of local emergency services containing the blaze.
