At approximately 0830 EST, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) authority announced an incident was underway 95NM Southeast of Aden, Yemen.

However, by 0900 EST, the UKMTO confirmed that a commercial vessel had been struck by a missile. The name of the vessel or battle damage assessment has not been released as of this publication.
