The Rwandan Ministry of Defence has stated that one soldier of the DRC was killed, along with another two arrested after the three of them had crossed into Rwanda in the Rubavu district, close to Goma.

Rwanda claims the third soldier was killed after he began firing upon a Rwandan patrol. They added that the Rwandan side suffered no injuries.
The DRC has yet to officially comment on the incident.
