Sources linked to Iran-backed militia forces have reported intense aircraft activity over the Babylon Governorate south of Baghdad and areas along the border with Syria near al-Qa’im.
This comes as the United States has vowed a response to an explosive drone attack by Iran-backed militia elements against the T-22 outpost in Jordan, which left three American soldiers dead.
Previous strikes in Babylon and al-Qa’im targeted Kataib Hezbollah and Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, who are both believed to have been involved with last night’s attacks.
