Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba Vows to Continue Attacks Against American Forces

The Iran-backed Shia militia group Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba, which is also part of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces, has released a statement vowing to continue attacks against American forces in the region in response to yesterday’s airstrike operations.

“Let the American occupation and its ill-fated administration know that the Islamic resistance will respond as it deems appropriate at the time and place it wants, and that this is not the end. We have surprises that will anger the enemy and please the friend, and you will emerge from Iraq humiliated and disgraced,” the statement added.

Harakat Hezbollah al-Nujaba has previously been involved in attacks against American military forces as part of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq. Likewise, the group has been the target of retaliatory American airstrikes in recent weeks, such as the killing of al-Nujaba Commander Abu Taqwa al-Saeedi last month in Baghdad.
