IDF Announces Rescue of Two Hostages Amidst Rafah Bombings

The IDF has announced the successful rescue of two hostages, a 60 and a 70 year old man, during operations in Gaza’s Rafah. Both are reportedly in good condition.

The rescue comes amidst Israel’s extensive bombing campaign in Rafah, which Palestinian sources claim has resulted in the deaths of over 100 people.

With the rescue of the two hostages, an estimated 134 hostages remain in Gaza. Israel believes 31 of the remaining hostages have died over the course of the war.
