At approximately 1000 EST, Gaza War protestors blocked the lobby area of the New York Times building on 620 Block of 8th Avenue in New York City.

By 1030, a large number of NYPD officers arrived on scene and were preparing to make arrests, which began by 1035. To transport the suspects, the NYPD reportedly vacated at least one MTA bus.

This follows arrests made at around 0100 EST at the New York Times printing facility in College Point, Queens, where dozens of protestors blocked trucks from leaving the facility with this morning’s paper. These protestors carried signs alleging that the Times was complacent to genocide, referring to Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip following the October 7th massacre.
