Indian ISIS Leaders Captured by Police

Indian authorities have announced that the leader of the Islamic State in India and another high ranking militant were apprehended after crossing over the border from Bangladesh, where they had likely been meeting with local ISIS-affiliated militant groups.

Assam Police reported that Haris Farooqi and Anurag Singh were captured by Special Task Force officers and were accused of “conspiring to carry out recruitment, terror funding and terror acts at several places across India.”
