As this publication reported on March 28th, 2024, U.S. person Adisson Pierre Maalouf, a journalist and “influencer” on YouTube, was kidnapped by the 400 Mawozo Group for a ransom of 600,000 USD. He was reportedly kidnapped on March 14th, 2024. As of 0800 EST this morning, reports have indicated that a ransom of 40,000 USD was paid.
As of 1250 EST, reports indicate that Maalouf has been released by the gang.
