Incident outside Union Station. An individual attempted to set fire to the bell outside the station. There was no person on fire, contrary to a report on social media. No injuries and this is a law enforcement matter. #DCsBravest

At approximately 1934 EST, initial reports indicated that a man set himself on fire at Union Station in Washington D.C.

The last case of self-immolation was on February 25th when a troubled member of the U.S. Air Force set himself on fire in front of the Israeli embassy. As of this publication there is no identification or justification.
