Blinken’s Visit to France: Strengthening Ukraine Support

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken visited France, engaging with President Emmanuel Macron and Foreign Minister Stéphane Séjourné.

Blinken recognized France’s summit to bolster Ukraine aid, which resolved to enhance ammunition, cyberdefense, and demining efforts.

Sébastien Lecornu, French Minister of the Armies, accompanied Blinken in his visit of NexterKNDS, a defence manufacturer, who plans to increase the production of CAESAR cannons (deployed in Ukraine) from 6 to 12 per month.

Blinken’s travel plans were adjusted due to mechanical issues with his aircraft, resulting in a drive from Paris to a NATO meeting in Brussels.
