High Ranking MS-13 Leader Arrested in Texas, Charged with Several Terrorism Offenses

The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced that MS-13 leader Humberto Lopez-Larios, also known as "Grenas de Stoners," was arrested by federal authorities at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, on June 9..Lopez-Larios, an original member of MS-13's Twelve Apostles of the Devil and a key figure in the Ranfla Nacional leadership council, has been charged with:.Conspiracy to provide and conceal material support to terroristsConspiracy to commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundariesConspiracy to finance terrorismConspiracy to commit narco-terrorism.The DOJ also alleges that "under the defendants' leadership and rules, MS-13 has committed murders, attempted murders, assaults, kidnappings, drug trafficking, extortion of individuals and businesses, and obstruction of justice" within the United States.."The arrest of Lopez-Larios, who is one of the most senior leaders of MS-13 in the world, is a significant achievement for law enforcement and another crucial step in the dismantling of this international criminal enterprise," stated United States Attorney Breon Peace.
