One Miner Found, One Still Missing, Search Paused, Poland

As this publication reported earlier today, more than 70 miners were trapped in the Rydultowy Coal Mine in Poland. As of 1030 EST this morning, only two of the miners were still trapped. However, as of 1215 EST, one of those missing has been rescued.

While rescuers have good reason to celebrate, unfortunately, the search has been called off due to dangerous methane emissions and the risk of further tectonic movements and shocks. There has not been an estimate of when rescue operations will resume.

This is developing.
