Ukraine-appointed Mariupol mayoral adviser Andryushchenko was the first public official to comment at 0535, claiming that those explosions were targeting a meeting of Self-Declared Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) leader Pushilin at the airport.
The DPR or Russian authorities have made no comment as of this publication.
