Russian AS-36 Submarine Rescue Vehicle Damaged in Norwegian Sea

According to the Ukrainian Main Intelligence Directorate, the Russian deep submergence rescue vehicle AS-36 was damaged in the Norwegian sea after colliding with a surface vessel on July 1st, 2024. That organization claims that the AS-36 was being lowered into the water by its Pionier Moskvyy-class submersible support ship Mikhail Rudnitsky, but the crew lost control and slammed the submersible into the hull, severely damaging it.
