Bangladesh Rapid Action Battalion Runs Down Protestors in Neighborhood in Dhaka

For the last twenty hours, protests have devolved into riots in Bangladesh as thousands of students armed with rudimentary weapons clashed with armed police and security forces. The protests began in June, when the country's High Court reinstated a quota system to reserve 30 percent of government jobs for families of freedom fighters who participated in the 1971 Liberation War.
