Reports of a Conflict Between the Afghan Taliban and Pakistan Near Border Emerging

Several pro-Taliban accounts on X recently reported that a conflict broke out between Pakistani and Afghan Taliban forces today. Allegedly, after Pakistani forces attacked areas near the Dangam district of the Kunar province in northeastern Afghanistan with heavy weapons the clash started. A photo of a dead body, which pro-Taliban accounts are claiming is that of Taliban fighter Shaheed Karimullah Mansour, has also been released. Tentative reports of civilian injuries have also emerged.
