Magnitude 7.4 earthquake hits Chile, minimal damage

Several earthquakes hit Chile's northern province of Antofagasta on July 18 and 19.
According to Chile's National Seismological Center (CSN), the strongest of the series of earthquakes was a magnitude 7.4 earthquake that occurred 20 km (12.5 mi) southward of San Pedro de Atacama at 9:50 pm on July 18.
