Two Moldovan Parliament and Border Police Officials Arrested in Espionage Case

At approximately 0300 EST, Moldovan Security Service personnel conducted a raid inside the Parliament building in Chisinau. By 1000 EST, the Moldova Prosecutor's Office confirmed that two officials from the Moldovan Parliament and Border Police were detained on suspicion of treason and conspiring against the country through communication with employee of foreign embassy in Chisinau.
