NASA Taps SpaceX to Rescue Stranded Astronauts Next Year

NASA has announced that astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who have been stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) since June, will return to Earth with SpaceX's Crew-9 mission in February. Originally scheduled for an eight-day mission, the astronauts have been on the ISS for 11 weeks due to issues with Boeing's Starliner spacecraft, which experienced multiple thruster failures and a helium leak during its journey to the station.
