Hezbollah Confirms Strikes in Retaliation for Fouad Shukr Assassination

A short while ago, Israel stated they launched an array of strikes in southern Lebanon on Hezbollah targets which they claimed were preparing to launch their strike upon Israel in retaliation for Israel's assassination of Hezbollah commander Fouad Shukr. Israeli and Lebanese sources have reported upwards of 40 different Israeli strikes on Lebanon thus far..In response, Hezbollah launched an array of rocket and drone attacks on targets in northern Israel. Local sources claim over 200 drones/rockets have been fired thus far, with several Iron Dome interceptions reported alongside several direct impacts in Israeli territory..Following these attacks, Hezbollah released a statement confirming that these attacks are the initial portion of their response to the assassination of Shukr.
