Al-Shabaab Militants Storm Lido Beach Hotel, Mogadishu

Update: Al-Shabaab has claimed responsibility for a car bombing and complex attack on the restraint where several Somali politicians were gathering. None have been killed or wounded.

Al-Shabaab militants have reportedly stormed a hotel/restaurant near Lido Beach, Mogadishu. At least three have been killed as gunfire erupted 30 minutes ago. Somalian security forces have been dispatched, but reports of targeted explosive attacks against them are coming in. This is developing.
