As we reported yesterday Russian Ground Forces removed 15/17 barges near Nova Khakovka where Ukrainian forces are currently threatening. These barge bridges have now been located adjacent to the Antonivka Road Bridge. These barges have been arrayed to create a barge bridge following multiple Ukrainian HIMARS strikes on the bridge, rendering it unusable for military and civilian vehicles to use.
This relocation of the barges seriously degrades Russian ability to ford the Dnieper River near Nova Khakovka, showing that decision makers have made a calculated risk in reinforcing bridging capability near Kherson city while potentially isolating Russian forces 20km North at Nova Khakovka.
