« We Submit a Request that Serbian forces return to Kosovo. Today, we agreed on the text of the request that we will send to the KFOR commander in accordance with Resolution 1244 to ensure the deployment of members of the Serbian army and police on the territory of Kosovo » -Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, when addressing the Serbian nation. Serbia is requesting Serbian Police and Military be deployed to monitor local elections. The elections were previously set for December 15th, but instead have been postponed till April.
He was speaking regarding recent tensions with Kosovo. On top of a deployment request, he also said that Kosovo will apply to the EU on December 15th, which he says violates the Washington agreement.
