India Expecting More Clashes with Chinese Troops on the Line of Actual Control

According to a confidential research paper that was submitted by the Ladakh Police during a recent conference of top officers, there is a high chance of more clashes between Indian and Chinese border security forces.

The Chinese forces along the contested Line of Actual Control have reportedly been increasing their construction of military infrastructure.

Note, there were recent clashes in December of last year.

The report predicting coming clashes points to intelligence gathered by police in the border areas and historical patterns of how the Indian and Chinese military react to an increase in tensions.

For a breakdown on the recent clashes in December and the ones in 2020, read this recent article I wrote on the topic.
